Welcome! I am Melody Sher, a wife and a mom who is passionate about music education. I have been teaching piano since 2002, and I absolutely enjoy helping students grow musically and connecting with them outside of the studio. Not only will I help them refine their skills, but I will also teach them how to read music and to express emotions through their fingertips. My lessons will often incorporate music theory, technical exercises, and classical/contemporary repertoire.

I am now accepting students from age 5 and up. Yes, adults are also welcomed! Every beginner will receive a free method book. For non-beginners, I prefer to meet with the student before our first lesson to learn about their goals and expectations.

My teaching philosophy is to simply spread the joy that music has brought me. I have had so many wonderful teachers (8 in total!) throughout my life, and I want to pass on to my students all of the precious lessons I have learned from them!
